I originally started out working as a graphic artist for 5 years, having trained at art college. During that time, I pursued my own personal illustration projects mainly working in goauche.

I eventually entered the world of film and television in 1996 as a freelance hands on modelmaker and set painter working at studios like Shepperton and many others, which then led me into the computer visual effects side of film and television working as a digital painter for Framestore-CFC in 2001, and since then have worked on many projects including the BBC's "Walking with" series, Primeval, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and The Tale of Despereaux.
